Full Review:

Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 comes in a comprehensive package that has a very intuitive interface.  If you have not heard of Kaspersky Lab, then you may have been missing out tremendously.  This program comes with a very strong Spyware, anti-virus, anti-spam and fire wall capability, giving other programs a run for their money.  It is easy to install, and within minutes an individual will have the complete program up and running.

One helpful feature of this software is File Advisor, which allows you to check all of your files easily and quickly with one simple mouse click. One of the best features of this software is System Watcher. This watches and monitors system applications and rolls back any changes made to your system by malware.  This is an incredible feature as it allows you to safely return your computer to the settings before malware took over.  This is a very big time saver, as in the past one would have to reformat their entire system and

risk losing valuable information.

There are also a number of other features available with this software, including the URL Advisor, which reveals the danger level of a web link with color coded tags that let you choose whether or not to open the link. It also features parental control, a two way firewall, anti-spam and anti-phishing protection, as well as a Safe run mode. The Safe run mode allows you to check out suspicious software and websites in an isolated and safe environment where they will not be able to harm your computer.Although the Kaspersky software is highly effective in securing the computer system, it does have problems when it comes to upgrading.  Whenever a new version comes out, customers are able to upgrade for free.  The upgrades often cause the user’s system to freeze up and crash.  Many users complain that they are not able to get any help from the manufacturer and that their computers end up corrupted by the software.

The software package is a bit expensive when compared to other software programs in the market.  There are plenty of bugs in the software package as well.  Developers hardly ever visit the software program’s official forum to answer and help the users.  When they do come to the forum, they seem to always have the same cookie-cutter responses by either asking for the logs and then not returning any response or simply telling users to reinstall the entire software. This demonstrates the poor level of tech support you will get from this software developer, and is probably the biggest drawback.
